Unpacking the Box

HelloFresh boxes arrive cold, so the ingredients stay fresh and at safe temperatures. Inside your box, you'll find thick, food-safe insulation used to keep the ice packs from melting. Packed neatly inside the cushioning insulation, you'll find the ingredients - foods such as raw chicken breasts, ground beef, couscous, fresh produce, and more, depending on your meal selection of course. You'll find all items needed to complete your recipes packed safely inside the box, along with full-color, reusable recipe cards. HelloFresh also ships recyclable ice packs in each refrigerated shipment to keep all foods fresh and at food-safe temperatures.

Although it's a good idea to unpack your HelloFresh box upon receipt, they are designed to stay cold for several hours after the specified delivery date and time. So if you can't get to your box right away, it shouldn't be a problem.
